JBP black-tailed godwits
April 06, 2020 03:21PM
No godwits when we walked past an hour before high tide yesterday. Today we were 3 hours after high tide. The section from just north of Jack Scout to JBP cattle grid gave an estimate (not a count) of 1,200+ on the sands.
Also yesterday: c20 dunlin on breakwater, 4 eider, and a pair of displaying rbm.
Chiffchaffs in various locations in last week with pair behaviour in Jack Scout today.
Singing blackcaps: Woodwell on 31/3 and 5/4, Jack Scout on 5/4, and Lindeth Road 6/4.
