2?plus males over Melling c2200hrs Monday night (per Stuart) - haven't checked my data from nearby high Tatham yet

Totally out of my depth here but interested. Do they sound anything like quieter slightly hoarse whooper swans which is what I thought I heard around a similar time....

I also recorded some over my house in Morecambe about 9.24pm on 31/3. I can't attach my recording because of the limit on file size but here's a link to a similar sounding one [www.xeno-canto.org]

Common Scoter over Claughton on Sunday 29/3 at 11:18 and another registration half an hour after midnight
