A short walk from home is a viewpoint across the Lune valley to the Snab and with my scope on full zoom this is what I could see from 1.25km away:
Black-tailed Godwit 16
Greenshank 1
Redshank 7
Oystercatcher 6
Lapwing 9
Wigeon 67
Shelduck 1
Mallard 2
Pink-footed Goose 52
Greylags and Canada geese - not counted but double figures of each
Common Gull 181
Lesser Black-backed Gull 46
Black-headed Gull 1
Sand Martin 3

A field on the south bank of the Wenning was being slurried and had attracted 600 Common Gulls
