A splendid male Garganey showing well on the flooded field.

Still hundreds of Black-tailed Godwits around. Yesterday had two colour-ringed birds, still waiting for information about them.

Hundreds of pink-feet still around, yesterday morning the white-fronts were on Heaton Marsh before flying across the river onto Aldcliffe Marsh.

Chiffchaffs seem to be everywhere.

As there is less dry land around at the moment I've been seeing Weasels more regularly along the cycleway.
