Another two chiffchaff were by Freeman's Pools. Also 600 Black-tailed godwit on flooded maize fields, stonechat and 5 Goldeneye.

Near my garden in Morecambe the pre roost gathering of Greenfinch is building up again - 29 this evening. Roost flights of other species have been noticeable lately as our garden seems to lie on a flight path that hasn't been used much until this month. At least 350 jackdaw and 600 Black-headed gull heading west each evening. Also a chiffchaff in the garden and a surprise mute swan flew over.
