Very wet

Cockersands - around high tide

Short-eared Owl 1 on flooded field
Bewick's Swan 6 adults on field behind Crook Cottage
Golden Plover 1200
Kittiwake 5
Eider 6
Shoveler 3
Pintail 53
Grey Plover 8
Great Crested Grebe 1

Yesterday - Tight flock of 40 Twite in the wet field just on right as you head to the caravan site after the lighthouse t-junction (GR432539) along with 15 Pied Wagtails and 5 or more Meadow Pipit.

Lots of restless Golden Plover (500+) swirling all over the sky but did not see them settle nor see what was spooking them!
2 GC Grebe in the channel. c10 Eider scattered among the Shelduck.
Great spectacle of large numbers of Wigeon, Shelduck, Lapwing, Whooper Swan etc
