Knowlys Road, Heysham - 19 Pale-bellied Brent Geese (14 flew in to land on the tideline at 8.30 am, followed by another 5 at 9.00 am).
Offshore: 6 Whooper Swan flew SE across the Bay and continued S past Heysham Head at 8.50 am. Also 51 Eider, 40 Cormorant, 3 Red-breasted Merganser and 1 Great Crested Grebe.

Pine Lake - 2nd CY male Ring-necked Duck at northern end. Also: 6 Scaup, 76 Tufted Duck, 35 Pochard, 19 Goldeneye and 5 Goosander,

Leighton Moss - 1 Great White Egret (Grisedale Hide), male Cinnamon Teal x Shoveler hybrid, 36 Tufted Duck, 5 Goldeneye and at least 7 Marsh Harrier (Lilian's Hide).
