Black Necked Grebe observed in the river off the north end of Crook skear, good viewing albeit from a distance across the river from 12.0 'Oclock on the flood tide until 13.45 when it was still there in company with a Great Crested Grebe.
Could I please request that you respect the privacy of Mrs Gerrard and family and anyone wishing to observe this wonderful bird please park at Land Lighthouse and walk the road to Crook Farm passing in front of the house via the foreshore and not across the grass directly in front of, many thanks.
