One was calling by Heysham office and showed itself to be the requisite buff toned individual. Couldn't get a lot of detail but certainly my looked and sounded the part. This was surprisingly the first sight or sound of a Chiff at Heysham or Middleton for some time - they are usually a late autumn feature. It's going nowhere I suspect in this murk so if it's not immediately obvious might be worth searching out the local long tailed tit flock(s) with which it was loosely associated

I'd already written the Heysham blog page if people are puzzled so
Will re-edit tomorrow
