Winter thrushes

Large numbers of thrushes moving solidly North over Lancaster this morning. At least 500 so far. Mostly fieldfare by the look of it. Some redwing and blackbird.

Large numbers of Fieldfare on the move over Pilling/Cockerham this morning. Flock of 200+ at Gulf Lane briefly.

Steady movement NW over the Crook this morning including a mixed flock c300 FF and RW.

2 Little Grebe back at the Crook this morning, 1 back yesterday.

Mid afternoon at Hill Farm, Brookhouse steady stream of winter Thrushes N including a flock of c250 mainly Fieldfare.
