Eric Morecambe Pools (from Crag Road viewpoint) - 5 Great White Egret, 49 Little Egret, 14 Greenshank, 1 female Marsh Harrier

Causeway Grit Trays - 4 Bearded Tit (interestingly none of the three seen well - 2 males and 1 female - were ringed), 1 calling Cetti's Warbler, 1 Great White Egret flew over towards Lower Hide.

Causeway Hide - 1 adult sinensis Cormorant

Boardwalk - several Common Darter and Migrant Hawker

Ivy covered hedge between Boardwalk and Visitor's Centre - 1 Painted Lady, 2 Comma, 4 Red Admiral

Grisedale Hide - 1 juv./female Garganey with Teal flock, 2 Marsh Harrier (male & female)

Visitor's Centre garden - 1 Painted Lady

Wellies essential at Leighton Moss as all paths between hides under 4 to 6 inches of water.
