I had two nests for a second brood of swallows in the machine shed at Torrisholme cricket club. They both fledged within days of each other last week, at least 6 birds. The whole lot appear to have left the area sometime in the last couple of days. It's very quiet.

Of note are sightings of both buzzard and raven more regularly in the last 10 days.

After a few days on the Yorkshire/Lincolnshire coast, where there are still a lot of swallows, House martins and sand martins moving, the coast here does seem very quiet.
