Seawatching hard work at Heysham - long spells with zero

Leachs Petrel - 4
Manx Shearwater - 1
Common Tern - 2
Arctic Tern 1-2
Knot - 2220 (early for large no)
Ruff - 1 (with high flying Curlew!)
Shag - 1cy
Little Gull - ad
Med Gull - c15
Kittiwake - 3
Prob Skua spp - brief view

Four or five Leachs driven into bay during the night and making their way out rather slowly and recorded from Heysham and/or Stone Jetty. I didn't see any of them but they were well recorded along with quite a nice selection - see Heysham Obs site
