Bank End Farm

2 Yellow Wagtails in amongst the sheep, with 73 Pied Wagtails.

Also c1000 Starling, constantly on the move because of the local Sparrow Hawk and Kestrel hoping for an evening meal.

2 Yellow Wagtails this afternoon, dodging heavy showers to feed with the sheep.
Also a lone Swift heading south into a strengthing wind.

60 Linnets feeding on the abundant sea pink seeds.

2 Juvenile Yellow Wagtails this afternoon, with 18 pied Wagtail, these soon departed South between squalls!

8 Swift were feeding around the trees, making effortless headway against 40 mph winds.

A late afternoon fall of 83 Wagtails included 2 Yellow Wagtails, one minute there was nothing on the Saltmarsh, then these birds appeared.

Monday, a total of 5 Yellow Wagtails, 2 of which looked like they had hopped out of the same nest together last week.
67 Pied Wagtail and a Common Sandpiper, plus Linnets and lots of Painted Lady butterflies heading south.
