3 green sandpipers & 6 snipe on the Wildfowlers' Pools (it must be autumn)
A newly hatched pair of lapwing chicks here too.

Black-headed gulls have nested on Freeman's Pools for the first time ever and young of various ages (inc fledged birds) are present.

In insect news: Emperors on every pond (minimum of 11 seen), 3 four-spotted chasers, loads of emerging common darters. Nothing with red veins...
