A walk up the Langden Valley this morning produced:
2 pairs of Common Sandpiper
2 pairs of Grey Wagtail, 1 with 2 fledged young
pair of Stonechat
calling Red Grouse
usual singing Willow Warblers and Blackcap

and around the parking area:
Coal Tit and Mistle Thrush families with recently fledged young
multiple Siskin

No Ring Ouzels seen which was the main reason for the trip. Are there any reliable summer sites for this species within the area nowadays, or will I need to travel further afield to connect this summer!
