Tower Lodge, adjacent Wood, etc

Tower Lodge, adjacent Wood, etc

Tower Lodge, 3 Spotted Flycatchers & 2 nests.
2 Common Sandpiper, 1 on drystone wall & 1on upturned tree root, both acting like they were protecting young in the stream, plus 2 well grown juvenile Curlew, being watched by an adult.

Between the Lodge & Trough Bridge 4 Spotted Flycatcher, 1 carrying food to nest, 2 definite territories.

Stoops Bridge, 2 Spotted Flycatcher and 2 territories.

Christ Church, Abbystead. Only 1 Spotted Flycatcher seen.

Cam Brow, Cuckoo heard calling, 2 very agitated Redshank on a drystone wall, clearly protecting young.
