7 avocets on the pool this morning. The avocets which were nesting on top of the main island have moved to the back of the island with 4 birds sitting - viewable from the canal towpath.

Also probably 6 oystercatcher nests, plus the terns and black-headed gull nests.

A family of tree sparrows on the towpath at the back of the pool with 5 chicks being fed.

Still sheep trampling all over the place!
