Seabird passage in May summary Heysham

A few SJ records here as well. These are May totals (April already summarised). Significant records boldfaced although I suspect we should have seen more Puffin!

Manx Shearwater - peak 70 on 27/5
Gannet - peak 42 on 27/5
Arctic Skua - 30, peak of 19 on 10/5
Pomarine Skua - total 8 (3 26/5, 2 17/5, 2 10/5, single 6/5)
Great Skua - just one - 2/5
Kittiwake - peak 146 on 11/5
Arctic tern - peak of c2910 on 10/5 - total 3474
Common Scoter - peaks of c600 18/5, c450 19/5
Black Guillemot - one 18/5
Puffin - 2 16/5

Little Tern - singles 1/5, 10/5, 13/5
Black Tern - 65 on 10/5, one on 11/5
Roseate Tern - one off SJ on 10/5
Black-throated Diver - 2 off SJ on 27/5

Common Tern - 12 on 10/5
Fulmar - one on 27/5
Relatively insignificant but steady numbers of Sandwich tern and Red throated Diver

Hopefully worth editing again after Thursday am's SW wind and rain!
