A very slow rise in local birds climbing to 7 yesterday and now 15 this afternoon screaming as a group. Most of the breeding birds have arrived and will be pairing, mating and gathering aerial nesting material in the next week or two. Always a good sight to see their interaction at this time of year. Worth watching at sunset in the next few days and reporting your local village or town population. If you struggle to count, wait for the birds to gather and take a smartphone sky image. Count the black dots.
