10 Northern Wheatear at Halforth this afternoon.
Had a good, close view of three, which looked remarkably like Greenland Wheatear.
3 Pinkfoot still here.
1 Red Breasted Merganser
22 Oystercatcher
6 Common Swift
8 Linnet
36 Mute Swan in a flock near College Green Farm
A flock of 34 Woodpigeon at Milnthorpe Sewage Works.
There's reports of more Common Whitethroats around, than usual.
That's been my experience too, this Spring, including one in an unlikely, new location: a nearby industrial estate, in a pile of brambles.
