Spring arrivals, Winter stragglers

2 Whooper Swan were with a large flock of 52 Mute Swan at College Green Farm ,Heversham.
4 Pinkfoot nearby.
Still 10 Goldeneye near Halforth
2 Red-breasted Merganser on the Kent behind College Green Farm. They've been here a couple of months
1 Common Sandpiper on the River Kent behind College Green Farm
A Northern Wheatear on flood defences near Marsh Farm.
On rest of walk- 4 Sandmartin
3 Barn Swallow
3 Linnet
Two flocks of Meadow Pipt[ 27 and 23]
10 Common Teal
43 Lapwing
14 Oystercatcher
4 Common Buzzard

Park End Moss Reserve , Brigsteer
The Great White Egret still there.
5 Gadwall[ 1 pair, 3 males]
6 Little Egret
1 Oystercatcher
1 Grey Heron
10 Common Teal
3 Curlew[over]
A pair of Tufted Duck
20 Sandmartin
2 Reed Bunting
8 Canada Goose
7 Greylag
5 Buzzard seen from hill overlooking the reserve.

Woods behind reserve- a Blackcap singing in lower wood just beyond the gate into the woods near the entrance to Park End Moss.
A Marsh Tit and 4 Chiffchaff nearby.
