Colour marked Black-tailed godwit

Scanning through pictures taken as it got dark on Sunday (7th) at Sunderland point I noticed a colour ringed Black-tailed godwit. Jenny Gill j.gill@uea.ac.uk says it is OR-GYflag (red left leg yellow flag right leg) and was ringed in Iceland. I'm sure she would like records if it, or any others are seen again. If anyone is interested I can post the full details when they are sent to me. I'll put the picture in the photo section.

Interesting bird Alan, been around since marked in NW Iceland in 2012.

I first saw the bird the following year at Cockersand 2013, I last saw it on the Lune Estuary at Glasson in 2017. It was recorded in our area 11 times over 7 years up to 2017 since it was first marked.

Please forward details to Richard du Feu who collates a not inconsiderable database from this area. Thanks
