Heysham Head (0745 - 0855) - 1 Shag in nearest low tide channel. Initially stood on rock, but began fishing as the channel began to fill with the early incoming tide. Also:460 Eider, 6 Red-breasted Merganser, 16 Great Crested Grebe and 11 Little Egret. Minimal vis mig: 1 Swallow north.

Pine Lake - c.150 Sand Martin, 8 Goosander

Eric Morecambe Pools (from Crag Road) - 1 adult Spoonbill on the Flood (mostly asleep), 2 Great White Egret (Barrow Scout Fields), 56 Avocet (mostly on Allen Pool)

Leighton Moss - 1 female Scaup, 16 Pochard, 3 Goldeneye (Causeway Hide), plus 5 Marsh Harrier, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff and Blackcap all singing, plus 1 male Orange-tip.
