Stone Jetty

Kittiwake flocks of 19, c. 40 and c. 20 in, then 18, 44, 26, c. 40 and c. 20 out. So a minimum of c.148 but possibly more. Only 2 1st winter birds. Once the wind turned north west most of the outbound birds were passing close in, which made a very welcome break from the norm here.

Great crested grebe 6
Common gull 8 1st winter
Meadow pipit 1

Little gull adult flew quickly out at 1130

Probably 175 Kitts in total

13/3 a short visit 6:30-7:20am. 1 fulmar and 7 kittiwakes heading out after the overnight tide.
