Falling tide 07:50-10:30

Kittiwake flocks of 16,17,29,34 and 47, the latter possibly duplicate. Minimum 96, perhaps 143
Little gull 1ad
Auk sp 1 distantly
Red-throated diver 1
Great crested grebe 9
Red-breasted merganser 5
Eider 38
Peregrine juv
Large numbers of waders heading south towards Heysham, more Dunlin than usual (c. 1500) plus 3 black-tailed and 11 Bar-tailed godwit which are less common here.

Same sort of stuff for a lesser watching time at Heysham other than the seaduck flocks which were to the south of Nick - c400 Eider (bit of a perhaps wind-related 'spike') and 7-8 Common Scoter but the sea was a bit rough for accuracy, albeit better than today when couldn't see a thing on the morning check!
