Ringtail hen harrier around the reserve for much of the day today plus at least 5 marsh harriers.
Bittern showing well from Causeway Hide.
Great white egret still present.
American wigeon seen yesterday (no news either way today) and similarly no news re great grey shrike in past couple of days but both likely still present.
Loads of wildfowl on site at the minute, plus water rails have been highly visible.
Waders include multiple greenshank and single spotted redshank along with the usual suspects, mainly at the Allen / Morecambe hides where kingfishers have also been reliable lately.
