Barrow Scout Fields - 410 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Green Sandpiper, 12 Little Grebe

Lilian's Hide - 3 eclipse Garganey (mostly asleep on island beyond tern raft), 13 Little Grebe (including 1 adult surrounded by 7 juveniles), 2 Swift

Grisedale Hide - 1 adult Hobby (perched in large willow out from left hand side of hide), 1 Green Sandpiper, 3 Marsh Harrier

Causeway Hide - 2 Great White Egret (perched in trees at Island Mere), 9 Greenshank, 5 Little Grebe.

So 30 Little Grebe in the Leighton Moss area - evidence of a successful breeding season.
