Red Kite and Willow Warblers, Swifts and update

Sorry for belated but had a Red Kite on 7th Aug heading NW over Holme Stinted Pastures (just above us and good views). Also a few Willow Warblers, one in particular was still giving a subdued full song whilst others were just about managing a part contact. Bulk of Swifts left us on July 28th and onwards and today (Thursday) we still have one pair only. Swallows now collecting on telegraph wires. Over 140 last couple of nights at Clawthorpe Hall. Checking daily for Chats returning and calling in on Holme Park Fell.
