Not much to shout about on the patch this morning... highlights as follows:

Common sandpiper 8
Oystercatcher with well grown young
Little egret 22
Grey heron 6
Very little water on most of the pools but disappointing lack of birds on those with water.

Sedge warbler with brood
Singing reed warbler, common and lesser whitethroats, chiffchaffs & blackcaps.

Inverts of note:
Emperor dragonfly
Shedloads of hungry horseflies...
