The common terns on the raft have hatched. At least one chick seen and being fed today. The other tern nest is still at incubation stage.

Two oystercatcher chicks on the raft, there were three a few days ago. Oystercatcher feeding at least one young on the bank near the drain close to the viewing screen but the young couldn't be seen.

A pair of avocets have been there for five days.

The whooper swan was still there.

Too many green listed waders around. It's the red ones which are important :-)

Pair of Redshank with 4 young chicks this morning, which all swam across from the small island and onto the main bank across from the viewing point. Brilliant to see and interesting to watch the parent behaviour toward nearby oystercatchers and also lambs!

As noted - two Common Tern chicks on the raft along with two Oystercatcher chicks.

Also a Little Ringed Plover feeding along the bank.
