Subalpine Warbler spp Middleton Nature Reserve

Due reward for a day of migrant searching by Dan was a female, initially seen well but very mobile, then going to ground during a shower after which it was not definitely seen again but there were some glimpses which may have included this bird

Anyone heading down there needs to park in the model boat pond car park (second on right with height barrier) then take the path round the west side of the pond before heading along the mainly concrete track past the square derelict brick building to the yellow barrier near the se corner of the golf course. At this point turn left along the concrete road and the bird was in scrub on the west side about half way along
