Foulshaw

Mid-morning visit to Foulshaw in bright sunshine. Tree pipits and Redpolls active. One Cuckoo flew in low over walkway and into trees. One male Stonechat and one over-flying Great Spotted Woodpecker. Osprey, presumed male, near top of tall dead tree close to nesting site but heat haze made for difficult viewing.
