First young avocets from two nests one with 4 young the other with 1 young 3 eggs but both still brooding! Adults carrying off shells.
Spotted Redshank 1
Black-tailed Godwit 205 mainly in winter plumage so last years birds
Gadwall 34
Wigeon 3

Pied Flycatchers
Seem to be present in good numbers partial coverage of my Roeburndale site produced 10 nests.

Hindburndale has 18 Pied Flycatcher nests and 4 Redstart nests to 9 May.

Now another three pied fly nests hindburndale - 21 in total and this does not include Haw Wood

Single Spotted flycatcher also seen upper Hinburn this pm
