A quick visit after the rain this afternoon on the falling tide.
Blackcap, willow warbler and wheatear grounded. About 50 eider, 6 great crested grebe, 2 Red-breasted merganser drifting out and 6 kittiwake flew north.

Still one jack snipe on its usual pond at White Lund this afternoon. 3 wheatear, peregrine and a blackcap the highlights from Heaton Marsh yesterday.
