About 100 Curlews circling around in several flocks calling to each other. Is this the start of pairing and moving off to the hills to breed. Lovely displays.

I've also seen a Bullfinch waggling it's tail to a female. Another breeding display?

Curlews have been moving in small numbers over Hornby since Sunday.

Not a bird but a Noctule Bat watched feeding over trees at the side of the castle in the sunshine between 13.05 and 13.15 today.
