Cumbria Coastal path High Foulshaw to Low Foulshaw
February 02, 2018 06:32PM
6 Red Breasted Merganser came in with the tide going past Sandside.
2 Whooper Swan were off Halforth the same couple which have been round for a while.
4 Buzzard along the path
325 Lapwing
42 Shell duck
84 Greylag
8 Goldeneye off Halforth
A pregnant sheep was trapped in barbed wire which I failed to free. Went back to High Foulshaw to report it. On return journey it had been freed by the farmer. The fourth sheep we've rescued along here[ one trapped by barbed wire, another with it's head locked in a wire fence, and the other with it's head stuck in a plastic paint pot].
