Sunderland Point at Low Water p/m

350 Curlew
2000 Lapwings
c2300 Bar Tailed Godwit ( very impressive spectacle in flight, difficult to obtain count due to being very tightly packed together when landed and constantly shuffling about in flock from the outside to inside, interesting to observe.
362 Oyster Catcher
1500 Golden Plover, constantly arriving from various directions
800 Redshank ( Largest count since Autumn passage)
1200 Wigeon
700 Dunlin
2 Hares on Glasson Marsh, whilst observing one appeared to awake, stood up and did a massive stretching exercise and proceeded to have a boxing match with its neighbour.
