Out on slag tips 11.20 - 13.30
Eider all long way out, 325 at one count, but more moving in later.
9 rbm
3 goosander
4 gc grebe
600 wigeon
20+ pintail
75 teal
2 shoveler
1 dunlin
1 grey plover
13.00 hours a significant movement of waders from South round to Carnforth Marsh area - curlews, redshank, oystercatchers, and a few bar-tailed godwits.
13.15 a distant guillemot taking repeated swoops from a herring gull, which it dived away from on each attack.
Total of 41 species.
