Cockersands and area

250+ Whoopers. Behind caravan park at Bank End. Very good views of the birds flying in and grazing in the fields.
4 Eiders offshore
C70 Turnstones
C80 Oystercatchers
1Dunlin
9 Greenfinches plus Meadow Pipits
Large numbers of Lapwing and Curlew grazing surrounding fields.
1 Merlin. In tree near Bank End. Very good views of it.

Glasson Marina.

2 Golden Eye (1 male. 1 Female)
Cormorants
Coot
1 Great Crested Grebe

Any ringed whoopers in that herd please?

We did not have our telescope with us - but Pete Woodruff had , and he spotted at least one Whooper with a red ring but was unable to get any more detail as it went into a dip in the field. Obviously one to pursue.
