Purple heron at Grisedale 4.30 yesterday afternoon.

92 little egrets out of the roost this morning. In Lower Hide 06.38 - 07.48, egrets all out between 07.05 and 07.25. Also juv marsh harrier, and otter, and calling cettis at both Lower and along causeway.

Singles of avocet, ruff, and goosander at Eric Morecambe Hide mid-morning.
