Pilling Lane Ends
Pinkfooted Geese - at least 3,000 on the salt marsh at 10.15am with a constant movement with skeins flying out and others dropping in. Many of these flew back onto the marsh after high tide c.2.30pm.
Lapwing c.1,000
Peregrine 1 perched on a post to the right of the salt marsh
Whooper Swan 5 in flight

Moss Lane, Thurnham - 36 Mute Swans

Jeremy Lane - 26 Mute Swans

Glasson Dock, River Lune behind bowling green before high tide
Golden Plover c.1,000
Curlew 30
Snipe 12
Canada Geese 21
Merlin 1
Great Crested Grebe 4
Goosander 4
Good numbers of redshank and lapwing
