Dunlin

Flushed two dunlin while doing my late visit BBS square on Goodber Common on Saturday morning. No singing birds though.

That's a really significant record hopefully. In the "(upland) Large Heath habitat"?

That is a indeed a significant record Joe. No sight nor sound of them on your early visit I assume? Can you e-mail me the details please gavin.thomas@rspb.org.uk. I work with the farmers who have grazing rights on the common - supporting them in managing wader habitat in the area so can make them aware of the Dunlin and help push for better management for them.
