Meanwhile one Cuckoo, having spent just four weeks in the UK, is on it's way back to Africa, currently in central France south of Orleans.

We listen out and note the first Cuckoos to arrive so let's see who can hear the last Cuckoo in our area!

Bit on the northern edge possibly, but there was one calling 10/10.30am in Dentdale @ SD6788 on June 20th - over from Barbondale perhaps?
